National Basic Surgery Cognitive Test 11 September 2025
National Basic Surgery Cognitive Examination Successfully Held Simultaneously Across Indonesia
Denpasar, September 11, 2025 – The Study Program of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, successfully conducted the National Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Basic Surgery Examination simultaneously across Indonesia on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
This examination was participated by 13 third-semester residents enrolled in the surgical specialist training program. The test took place at the Meeting Room of the Department/KSM of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine UNUD/Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Hospital, Denpasar, starting at 09.00 WIB until finish.

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) was conducted for 100 minutes with a total of 100 questions, and the passing grade was set at 70. Throughout the examination, participants showed great focus and enthusiasm in working on the nationally standardized questions.
The exam proceeded smoothly and orderly, supported by a stable technology system and strict supervision. This examination serves as an essential part of the evaluation process for surgical residents in mastering the fundamentals of basic surgical knowledge.
