The Surgical Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held The Local Competency Examination which was preparation for Residents of Surgical Specialist Study Program (PPDS) to take the National Competency Examination of the Indonesian College of Surgical Collegium. This exam was held offline at the Meeting Hall of Surgery Department of Prof. I.G.N.G Ngoerah Hospital on October 12 2023, involving eight exam candidates.

The exam took place from 08.30 WITA to 13.00 WITA. The exam consisted of 10 stages, namely the Digestive Surgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Cardiac and Vascular Thoracic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Pediatric Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Trauma Surgery. The Local Competency Exam will be followed by the National Competency Exam which will be held in Banjarmasin in November 2023.
