The National OSCE Exam 2022

In 2022, General Surgery Program of Udayana Faculty of medicine once again take part in National exam of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). This OSCE exam is a must for General Surgery residency student to participate in if they want to move to the next level of study program. This Exam is held centrally and aim to evaluate the participants ability objectively and they are standarized nationally. 

This exam is held by Indonesia Collegium of Surgery (KIBI) for two days ( May 21 and May 22, 2022) and is held in all surgery centers university in Indonesia at the same time. In Udayana Faculty medicine, The participants is 13 General Surgery residents that have finished their Third semester In General Surgery Program in Udayana. Similiar to the previous year, There are 10 station for the exam, such as digestive surgery, Oncology surgery, Orthopedic, Urology, Pediatric surgery, Plastic Surgery, Thoracic- Cardio Vasculer surgery, Vascular surgery, Neuro surgery and Basic Surgical Skill. For the examination system still uses the hybrid system, combining online and offline processes. All the examination process is monitored through surveillance cameras that  are directly connected with Indonesia Collegium of Surgery. We Hope this exam can be used as one of parameter that can guarantee the General Surgeon competency in Indonesia.
