For commemorate the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia at Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah General Hospital on August 17, 2022, the Udayana University General Surgery Study Program had the opportunity to be the ceremony committee. The ceremony was held at the flag field of Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah General Hospital and followed by all staff from Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah General Hospital. On the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, the theme raised is "Pulih lebih Cepat dan Bangkit lebih Kuat".

The 77th Independence Day Commemoration Ceremony at Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah General Hospital went smoothly and solemnly. The activity ended with the announcement for the winner in room decorating competition for the 77th Independence day commemoration of the Republic of Indonesia and the General Surgery Department won the second place.
