On Sunday 29 October 2023, RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah, the Association of Indonesian Surgical Oncologists, and the Resident of General Surgery of Udayana University held Pink October event to commemorate breast cancer with the theme

"PINK IT UP!" - Together We Can Make a Difference. The event was held at the Niti Mandala Renon Field - Bajra Sandhi Monument and started at 07.00 WITA.

The event was attended by the community and academic teaching staff of RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah, and Resident of General Surgery at Udayana University. The event began with a Flashmob Dance, followed by remarks by Dr. I Wayan Sudana M.Kes as director of RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah. Afterward, the Funwalk event was held on the main road around the Niti Mandala Renon Square for one lap while announcing and distributing pamphlets for the Pink October event.

After the Funwalk around the field, the event continued with a health talk show about breast cancer guided by the MC presenting experts at their own field, namely Prof. Dr. Dr. I Wayan Sudarsa, Sp.B, Subsp.Onk(K), dr. Ngakan Putu Daksa Ganapati, Sp.Onk.Rad and Dr. Dr. Dedi Silakarma, Sp.KFR(K).

The event then continued with a free consultation and health examination, Clinical Breast Examination (SADANIS), Breast Examination with Ultrasound carried out by Udayana University General Surgery Residents and Udayana University Surgical Oncology Sub-Division Trainees simultaneously in the examination tents. The event was enlivened by a performance from the Band "We Are Resident of Surgery" - WARS, best costume contest and door prizes giveaway by the chairman of the committee, Dr. dr. Putu Anda Tusta Adiputra, Sp B, Subsp. Onk (K).
