31th Celebration of Udayana General Surgery Study Program

Udayana University General Surgery Study Program celebrates its 31st anniversary on August 16, 2022. In order to celebrate the 31st birthday, various activities have been carried out such as social service, futsal tournaments, visiting lecture with foreign speakers, and carried out tour and rides with motorcycle. The peak of the Study Program Anniversary is held in Warung Ongan, Denpasar for the first time.

The event began with a remarks from the Head of the Study Program, Dr.Dr. I Made Mulyawan, Sp.B-KBD then continued with the remarks of the Dean of Udayana University Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. Then proceed with a view of the founders of the FK Unud Surgery Study Program, including Prof.Dr.dr. Ida Bagus Tjakra Wibawa Manuaba, MPH, Sp.B (K) Onk and Prof.Dr.dr. I Ketut Siki Kawiyana, SP, B, Sp.OT (K). The last message impression was given by alumni representatives, dr. Wawan Tirtayasa, Sp.B (K) Onk and Dr.Dd. Wayan Niryana, M.Kes, Sp.BS (K).

At this event, yellow rice cone and cake cuts were held as the symbolic for the peak celebration of the General Surgery Study Program 31st birthday celebration. The activity ended with a group photo, dinner together, and entertainment. It is hoped that this kind of activity can be carried out on ongoing basis to strengthen kinship and brotherhood in the Udayana General Surgery Study Program as one of big family.
