Curiculum Workshop, Gathering, and Graduates of the Surgery Study Program of Udayana University 2023

Udayana General Surgery Study Program held a curriculum workshop accompanied by workshops, internal quality audits, socialization of international accreditation, gratitude and judiciary of graduates, and gatherings. This activity took place from April 29-30, 2023 at Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort Hotel. This activity was opened by dr. I Putu Ari Gunawaan, M. Biomed, Sp.B, Subsp.Onk(K) as the head of the committee and Dr. dr. I Made Mulyawan, Sp.B, Subsp. BD(K) as the Coordinator of the Surgery Specialist Study Program, FK Udayana University. This activity was attended by many participants, surgeons, professors, and deputy deans of the Faculty of Medicine Udayana University.

            On the first day, the activity was opened with 3 workshop materials, the first material with the topic of Thyroidectomy presented by dr. I Gede Budhi Setiawan, Sp.B, Subsp. Onk(K), the second material with the topic of CDL Access Installation by dr. Ida Bagus Budiarta, Sp.B, Subsp. Onk(K), and the third material with the topic of Hemicolectomy by Dr. dr. Made Agus Dwianthara Sueta, Sp.B, Subsp. BD(K). The event then continued with the judiciary of graduates of the Surgery Specialist Study Program FK Udayana University, where proudly graduated 2 surgery specialists, namely dr. A A Ngurah Rai Kusuma Putra and dr. I Gusti Agung Gede Darma Putra Suryapranata.

            The event continued with the discussion of curriculum workshops, where there were 4 commissions and those in charge of S1 and S2 which became topics of discussion to determine the planning of the next Surgery Specialist Study Program of Udayana University. Then, the event continued with the socialization of international accreditation and also internal quality audits. The first day of the event was closed with a meal and karaoke with Specialist, Doctor, and Surgery Resident, accompanied by WARS Band and guest star Ray Peni.

            On the second day, the event was closed with cycling and eating together with Specialist Doctors and Surgery Residents. The activity went smoothly and well. It is hoped that this activity can continue to be carried out to increase knowledge and skills, and can bring the Surgery Specialist Program of Udayana University to be even better.
