Doctoral Promotion of dr. I Gede Budhi Setiawan, Sp.B., Subsp. Onk(K)

The Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences, Udayana University, once again marked an academic milestone through the doctoral promotion examination of one of its candidates, dr. I Gede Budhi Setiawan, Sp.B., Subsp. Onk(K). The event was held on Friday, March 6th, 2026, from 10.00 to 13.00, at the 3rd Floor Auditorium, Postgraduate Building, Jl. PB Sudirman, Denpasar, Bali.

On this occasion, dr. I Gede Budhi Setiawan, Sp.B., Subsp. Onk(K) presented his dissertation entitled “High Expression of CD8 and CD45RO and Low Expression of FOXP3 in Axillary Lymph Nodes as Poor Prognostic Factors for Survival in Patients with Triple Negative Breast Cancer.”

The doctoral promotion examination represents the highest academic stage in doctoral education, assessing a candidate’s scientific contribution to advancing knowledge. In this context, the presented research provides an important contribution to the development of biomedical sciences, particularly in the field of surgical oncology. It is hoped that the findings of this study will further enrich scientific understanding in medicine and contribute to the advancement of healthcare services, research, and medical education in Indonesia.
