Local Professional Examination of the Surgical Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University
On Thursday, March 12, 2026, the Surgical Residency Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University conducted a Local Professional Examination at the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, RSUP Prof. Dr. I. G. N. G. Ngoerah, Denpasar, Bali. This activity represents one of the important stages in evaluating the competencies of trainees in the surgical specialist education program.
The examination began at 08:30 WITA and continued until 11:30 WITA. The exam was conducted using a station-based system designed to assess clinical skills, diagnostic reasoning, and therapeutic decision-making across various surgical disciplines.
A total of six candidates participated in this local professional examination:

- dr. Anak Agung Kade Ari Sanjaya
- dr. Ida Bagus Putra Ambara
- dr. I Made Oka Wahyantara
- dr. I Dewa Gede Agung Purwakatamayasa
- dr. Krishna Murprayana
The examination consisted of six stations, each representing a major subspecialty within the field of surgery. These stations included:
- Surgical Oncology
- Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgery (TCVS)
- Neurosurgery
- Digestive Surgery
- Urology
- Plastic Surgery
Each station was supervised by examiners who are faculty members and consultants in their respective fields. The team of examiners for this local professional examination consisted of:

This local professional examination is expected to ensure that each trainee possesses the competencies required in surgical practice, including case assessment, interpretation of clinical and supporting findings, and the formulation of appropriate patient management plans.
