National Advanced Surgery Cognitive Examination Successfully Held Simultaneously Across Indonesia


Denpasar, September 24, 2025 – The Surgery Specialist Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held the National Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Examination in Basic Medicine simultaneously across Indonesia on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

The exam was participated in by 12 sixth-semester students of the specialist training program, with 11 participants attending in the Meeting Room of the Department/KSM of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine Udayana University/Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah General Hospital, Denpasar, and 1 participant from a network hospital at Kaimana District Hospital. The examination took place in the Meeting Room of the Department/KSM of Surgery, FK UNUD/RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, Denpasar, starting at 09.00 WIB until completion.

This Computer-Based Test (CBT) lasted for 100 minutes with a total of 100 questions. The passing grade was set at 70. Throughout the examination, all participants appeared focused and enthusiastic in working on the nationally prepared questions. The exam ran smoothly and orderly, supported by a stable technological system and strict supervision.

This examination is part of the competency evaluation process for surgical specialist candidates in mastering advanced surgical knowledge.
