Region 4 National Competency Examination November 2025

 The Indonesian College of Surgery (KBI) has conducted the National Competency Examination of the Surgical College, which serves as a graduation requirement for residents of the Surgical Specialist Program (PPDS) in General Surgery. This examination was held offline in Denpasar, Bali, on November 22, 2025. A total of 18 participants from the fourth region of the Indonesian College of Surgery took part, representing Udayana University, Brawijaya University, Airlangga University, and Sebelas Maret University.

On this occasion, six candidates from Udayana University were scheduled to sit for the National Competency Examination. The candidates were Dr. Gde Ary Putra Kamajaya, Sp.B, Dr. Grace Mary Aritonang, Sp.B, Dr. Ovamelia Julio, Sp.B, Dr. Ida Ayu Dwi Oka Putri, Sp.B, Dr. Lambertus, Dr. Josef F. Buga, Sp.B, and Dr. I Made Purnawan, Sp.B. All candidates from Udayana University were declared successful in the National Professional Competency Examination in General Surgery.

In this examination period, Dr. Gde Ary Putra Kamajaya, Sp.B was awarded first place as the best graduate, and Dr. Ovamelia Julio, Sp.B was awarded third place. This achievement brings great pride to the General Surgery Study Program of Udayana University and is expected to serve as an example and motivation for future candidates to become excellent and competent surgeons.
