On Saturday, February 21st 2026, an outbound activity was held for residents and staff of the Surgical Department of RSUP Prof. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah. The event took place at The Sila’s Agrotourism, Tabanan, Bali, in a refreshing and convivial atmosphere.

The event was attended by the Coordinator of the Surgical Specialist Study Program, Dr. dr. Made Agus Dwianthara Sueta, Sp.B., Sub.Sp.BD(K), as well as dr. Gede Budhi Setiawan, Sp.B., Sub.Sp.Onk(K). The program commenced with opening remarks from the Chairperson of the Committee and the Coordinator of the Surgical Specialist Study Program, officially marking the start of the outbound activities.

The atmosphere grew more solemn as all attendees joined together in singing the Udayana Surgery Hymn. During the occasion, a formal handover ceremony of the Chief of Chief (COC) position was conducted as part of the leadership regeneration process among the residents. The newly elected COC, dr. Pande Ayu Kirana Dewi, delivered her inaugural speech and expressed her gratitude while presenting a token of appreciation to the previous COC for their dedication and service.

The main session continued with a series of team-building games designed to strengthen teamwork, enhance communication, and foster camaraderie among participants. Out of five games conducted, three winners were selected based on the highest cumulative scores.

As the closing segment, the committee presented an award to the resident who obtained the highest points from a previously conducted polling. This recognition served as an appreciation of the resident’s contribution, integrity, and spirit throughout the training period.

Through this outbound activity, it is hoped that stronger bonds will be established among residents and staff of the Surgical Department, further supporting a harmonious, collaborative, and professional educational environment.
