Udayana Surgery Residents Achieve Recognition at the 2026 National Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Society of Digestive Surgeons
Proud news once again comes from the General Surgery Residency Program of Universitas Udayana. Representatives of the General Surgery residents achieved notable accomplishments at the National Scientific Meeting (Pertemuan Ilmiah Nasional/PIN) of the Indonesian Society of Digestive Surgeons, held in Malang on May 7–8, 2026.
During this national scientific event, the residents successfully brought honor to Universitas Udayana by receiving the Favorite Winner Award in the Poster Design Competition through their innovative scientific works in the field of digestive surgery.
The award recipients are as follows:

With a poster entitled “Portal Hypertension as a Predictor of Post-Hepatectomy Liver Failure.” - dr. Anak Agung Duwagung Dalem Dwi Putra
With a poster entitled “Botulinum Toxin as a Postoperative Therapeutic Agent for LARS in Rectal Adenocarcinoma.” - dr. Oliev Gohantanadha Tambunan
With a poster entitled “Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Combined with Bevacizumab in Resectable CRLM.”
This achievement reflects the residents’ strong academic spirit, dedication, and commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and research in the field of digestive surgery. Participation and accomplishment in national scientific forums are expected to encourage continuous innovation, academic excellence, and meaningful contributions to the advancement of medical science, particularly surgery, in Indonesia.
