National MCQ Examination (Cognitive and Basic Surgery)

As part of the competency evaluation for the Surgical Residency Program (PPDS) in Surgery, a CBT (Computer-Based Test) for Basic Surgery and Advanced Surgery was conducted. This National MCQ Examination was held on February 14, 2026, in the CBT Room of the Faculty of Medicine Building, Udayana University, and was attended by a total of 27 surgical residents. The participants consisted of 14 advanced-stage surgical residents and 13 basic-stage surgical residents.

The examination was conducted in accordance with established standard operating procedures. Participants arrived on time for registration and identity verification before entering the examination room. The organizing committee ensured that all computers, network systems, and the CBT platform were functioning optimally, allowing the examination to proceed without any technical issues.

The examination atmosphere was orderly and conducive, and the residents demonstrated readiness and professionalism throughout the test. It is hoped that through this examination, the quality of education and the competency standards of graduates from the Surgical Residency Program will continue to be maintained and improved. Furthermore, this examination is expected to motivate residents to continually enhance their academic knowledge, clinical skills, and professionalism as future competent and ethical surgical specialists.
